Remember when we told you Irish actress and rugby sister extraordinnaire Sharon Horgan's Pulling had been picked up by ABC? Well, now it seems former teen queen Mandy Moore has signed on to star in the series. How exciting.
Deadline says the Tangled star will take on the role of man-hungry Louise, played by Rebekah Staton in the UK original, which was broadcast on BBC Three between 2006 and 2009. And as for Horgan's Donna? Well, The Hollywood Reporter has just confirmed that former New Girl star June Diane Raphael, will giving it her best shot.
ABC seem to have invested quite heavily in the remake: Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore will be at the helm and Bad Teacher scribes Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky have written the pilot. As for Ms Horgan, she's developing her own pilot at ABC. Bad Management will be a workplace comedy, and Sharon might even have a role in it herself. Some one for one woman, eh?
With Seth Rogen signing on for Arrested Development and Mandy joining Pulling, we wonder if there'll be anyone left to make movies at all at all...
