The main thing is it will air

A note to 'Love Island' fans...

If you don't want to miss any of the drama, tears and tantrums of the show that sees beautiful young people search for love at a luxurious South Africa villa, you'll need to be aware of this.

The reality series that everyone's talking about airs on a different TV channel in Ireland tonight.

The show typically airs a new episode every night (bar Saturday, which recaps the week) at 9pm on Virgin Media One.

However, tonight (22 January) it airs at the same time on Virgin Media Two instead.

The reason for the change is that a special programme for Election 2020 will broadcast in the show's usual spot.

Matt Cooper and Ivan Yates host the Debate Special. It sees Taoiseach Leo Varadkar face off Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin.

'Love Island' returns to its usual spot tomorrow (23 January).
