"Hi, it's me"
Disney+ has dropped a new trailer and fans seem most excited to see the 'Lizzie McGuire' reboot (in spite only getting about a two-second look).
Starring Hilary Duff in the title role, 'Lizzie McGuire' aired from 2001 to 2004. It proved a hit with audiences going through similar trials of adolescence.
The sequel series will not only see Duff reprise her role. Jake Thomas, who played Lizzie's brother Matt, Hallie Todd, who played her mom, Jo, Robert Carradine, who played her dad Sam, and Adam Lamberg, who played Gordo, also return.
The reboot sees our heroine, now thirty years old, working as an apprentice interior decorator in New York City. Whether she and Gordo are still together has yet to be seen. We do know that her animated alter-ego (who is still 13 years old) will be making an appearance.
Dropping on New Year's Day, the new promo for Disney+ highlights all the great films and TV series the streaming service has on offer. Movies as new as 'Aladdin' and 'The Lion King' will be exclusively available to watch there. More upcoming shows like 'Wandavision', 'Falcon and Winter Soldier' and season 2 of 'The Mandalorian' are also teased.
