It's been a crazy few days in Ireland but if there is one thing you can guarantee is that the nation will rally around to judge the folk looking to spruce up their gaff on Room to Improve.
Last night it was the turn of IT manager Christine who wanted Dermot to turn her recently bought red brick terraced house in Clontarf into the house of her dreams. Emphasis on DREAMS.
Christine had a 25-page long wish list filled to the brim with ideas and plans that would have been aspirational for someone with a budget twice her size.
From kitchen islands to under-floor heating, Christine wanted it all, much to the exasperation of Dermot, quantity surveyor Lisa and well, the rest of the country.
This is finally the episode where Dermot murders someone and constructs a secret room just to hide the body #RoomToImprove

Christine spends like a Kardashian in Brown Thomas but has the budget of a Cavan man in Dealz #RoomToImprove

The thing I love about this country is that on Sunday nights, we can all come together to slate somebody with unrealistic architectural expectations on Twitter. It just warms my heart. #RoomToImprove

Whatever about the day bed or the under floor heating, the biggest notion on #roomtoimprove is that the Malahide Road in Fairview has now become Clontarf

So unlike an IT Manager to have unrealistic expectations for a project. Or change specs during implementation. 🤷♂ #roomtoimprove

Notions! Dermot even said it himself.
