We hope at this stage it's not a spoiler to reveal that, after being killed off in the Season 5 finale, Jon Snow was resurrected in the second episode of Season 6.
Despite his ordeal, Jon seemed to be little changed by his brush with death. He quickly returned to his old self (albeit with shorter hair), and began to focus on taking Winterfell back from Ramsey Bolton.
The actor who plays Jon, Kit Harrington, was underwhelmed by the lack of transformation telling The Wrap "I didn’t know if I’d come back as a changed person, as a villain. So I couldn’t pre-plan anything, which was hard. And then I got the scripts, and actually, he comes back as himself, as the Jon that everyone knows. Which at first I found disappointing."
He went on to point out the changes that have taken place within the character, and how that affects him "He has an insight into what lies beyond that very few people in his world do, and that no one in our world does — he knows that there’s no afterlife. Which does quietly drive who he is and what he wants to do."
When we last left Jon, he was sitting comfortably as the newly declared Lord of Winterfell and King of the North, but knowing Game of Thrones that won't last long.
