The series is the closest it's ever been to a revival
Cast your mind back if you will, to a much more simpler time, when the only reality TV series doing the rounds was MTV's 'The Osbournes'.
In comparison with today's over-stuffed reality TV affair, 2002 really was the beginning of what was to come.
'The Osbournes' followed the lives of four members of the infamous Osbourne family - rocker Ozzy, his wife Sharon, and their children Kelly and Jack, and ran for four seasons until 2005.
The fly-on-the-wall series created memorable moments for viewers, often tackling huge issues such as when Sharon was diagnosed with cancer, and when Ozzy nearly died in a driving accident.
Of course, there were also hilarious moments such as when there was a dog therapist called to help address the family's dog problem, and Ozzy Osbourne's general presence was always appreciated.
Now, rumours of a revival of the series have been doing the rounds for the last number of years, and one family member has recently spoken out about the possibility of that happening.
Nearly 15 years since 'The Osbournes' went off the air, Kelly Osbourne, now as singer, actress, and fashion designer, said to People that a revival has never been so strong.
Speaking of when she first started the show, Kelly said: "When I signed the contract for MTV, I was 15 years old and to see what it turned into, we didn’t know how people would perceive us or anything."
Acknowledging how much people would love to see a return of 'The Osbournes', she continued: "I’m not joking, every single year about every three months or so someone else gives us another offer and we keep saying no.
"It keeps coming ’round. Right now there’s another offer on the table and I think this is the closest we’ve ever come to accepting one.
"But whether that will happen or not, I don’t know."
If a revival were to happen, Kelly said "We’ve got other people to think about. My brother [Jack, has] got three kids. Do we want that life for them without them being old enough to choose if they want to do it or not like my brother and I were?"
We'll have to wait and see if 'The Osbournes' and Ozzy's humorous anecdotes make a return in the future.
