"Kate, are you OK?" - "Obviously not..."
It's telling that even in something as institutional as 'SNL' that the complete and utter clusterf**k that is 2020 has basically broken down even the most veteran castmembers and segments of the show.
In a pretty nothing sketch during 'Weekend Update', Kate McKinnon cracked up and broke character as the sketch delved into Donald Trump's recent diagnosis with coronavirus, the fallout from that diagnosis, and just the general weariness everyone is experiencing right now.
It's actually hard to tell whether the moment is scripted or not, primarily because you get the sense that the sketch had basically run its course and didn't have a punchline, so the whole final moments of it was improvised - and, to be honest, was the better for it.
Doweknowdis for sure, however? No, we donknowdis.
Take a look.
