We guess it ain't about the money, money for Jessie J, because the songstress has just confirmed that she will not be returning to The Voice UK as a judge/mentor/coach next year due to touring commitments.
The Price Tag (yeah, sure isn't it the one everyone's still singing) star took to her official Twitter account this morning to share the news with her followers and fans of the show. "I've absolutely loved my time on The Voice and I hope everyone knows how passionately I felt about the show" she said. "However, I can't wait to promote my new record around the world and that has to take priority." Ok, so maybe it is about the money after all...

She didn't rule out the possibility of playing some role in the series when it returns for Round 3 next year though. And for all we know she may not be the only one opting out: Danny O'Donoghue has yet to confirm he'll be back, and recently revealed to Hot Press that he'd have to work his Voice commitments around The Script's touring schedule.
It's fair to say Jessie has been one of the more controversial TV talent show judges. She may not have caused too much controversy on-screen, but the amount of bile directed at her online and in the press certainly served to spice things up on set. There was many a Saturday evening spent defending herself on live telly, so she'll be difficult one for the producers to replace.
Hands up, I'm not one of her biggest fans, but I did admire her ability to take that criticism with a pinch of salt: You'd need the skin of a dragon to withstand some of the comments that came her way. I most likely will not be sorry to see her disappear off screen (The vocal acrobatics really grind my gears lads), but I won't begrudge the lass her well deserved place in the sun. Sure she worked hard for it, innit?
Will you be sorry to see Jessie go?
