Jerry Stiller has passed away of natural causes at the age of 92.

His son Ben led the tributes to the actor and comedian, writing on Twitter: "I’m sad to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, passed away from natural causes. He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad."

 

Since then, many have come forward with touching words about Jerry, especially his former colleagues from 'Seinfeld' and 'The King of Queens'.

Jerry Seinfeld shared a photo of "The Last Two People in the World," a 1967 comedy album from Stiller and his wife, Anne Meara.

 

Julia Louis-Dreyfus shared a clip of 'Seinfeld' bloopers, writing: "The truth is that this happened all the time with Jerry Stiller. He was so funny and such a dear human being. We loved him."

 

Jason Alexander, who played Stiller's character's son on 'Seinfeld', wrote: "He was perhaps the kindest man I ever had the honor to work beside. He made me laugh when I was a child and every day I was with him. A great actor, a great man, a lovely friend."

In another tweet, he shared a photo of them together, adding: "I adored this man."

 

Stiller's 'The King of Queens' co-stars Leah Remini and Kevin James shared tributes as well.

 

'Seinfeld' writer Carol Leifer wrote "What a JOY to work with this man... He made everything funnier!"

 

Wayne Knight, who played Newman on 'Seinfeld,' called Stiller "a kind, brilliant comedian" and "a giant."

 

Parry Shen, who had a small role on 'The King of Queens' shared a story about how Stiller helped him get his part back.

He wrote: "When I thanked Jerry, he said, ‘Hey, it’s not Shakespeare! You’re doing great!'"
