James Corden's US late night chat show appears to be going from strength to strength, but let's face it, a major reason for that in his hugely viral Carpool Karaoke videos which have featured the likes of Adele, One Direction, Justin Bieber and Elton John.
Now it looks like Corden wants to follow in the footsteps of Lip Sync Battle - which began on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon - and make Carpool Karaoke into its own show.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Late Late Show host and his executive producer Ben Winston are currently pitching the idea for the show to various networks, and while Corden is not expected to host the series, he will be heavily involved as an executive producer and will make guest appearances from time to time.
There's said to be a great deal of interest in the show already and its likely to result in a bidding war amongst networks given that the YouTube videos have logged 412 million views to date.
Who knew Smithy had it in him? Gav-lar would be so proud.
