The GOT star has joined the cast of a new BBC series
Jack Gleeson is set to return to our TV screens very soon in a brand new BBC series.
The former Game of Thrones star shot to fame playing iconic baddie Joffrey Baratheon on the HBO series. However, since leaving the series he's taken a break from screen acting.
Gleeson revealed at that he intended to take a break from acting and finish out his studies in Trinity College Dublin. He also said that he hadn't been enjoying acting as much any more.
While he hasn't been taking on any screen roles since then, he's been active in theatre. He's a member of the Collapsing Horse theatre company and has appeared in many of their productions.
His new acting gig will be in the six part BBC comedy series, Out Of Her Mind. Written and starring Sara Pascoe, Out Of Her Mind explores heartbreak, family and how to survive them. According to the BBC, the series "subverts the traditional sitcom format by combining eccentric characters, animation, and scientific explanation."
Definitely sounds like one to check out then. Also among the cast are Juliet Stevenson and Scroobius Pip.
The series is executive produced by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
