The ex-Love Islander welcomed his first child, Blossom.
Although his love life has been a fairly open book since his stint on 'Love Island' in 2018, Jack Fincham's managed to keep this bundle of joy under wraps for some time.
In an Instagram post, the ex-Love Islander shared a picture of his newborn daughter, and explained why he kept the news of it secret until now. "I'm normally a very open book and share most of my life on my social media. This blessing I chose not to," Fincham said.
"I'm just a normal geeza," he went on, "who went on a tv show, which throws you straight into the public eye...which I will forever be grateful for. However I knew for myself I needed personal time and to keep this part of my life private to prepare for this new responsibility and part of me that will change my life forever."
While Fincham has not disclosed who the mother is or the status of their relationship, he described his newborn daughter as "the best thing that has ever happened to me and it’s true what they say, the instant feeling of love and connection you have with your child is a feeling like no other."
By all accounts, it seems as though none of the other Islanders from Fincham's stint were aware of it, with many of them seeming just as surprised as everyone else in the comments of the post.
Here's the post in question.
