WHO was voting for Matt?
We finally have a winner after 21 back-to-back episodes down under.
The 'I'm A Celebrity' final was full of emotions as the three finalists - Jill Scott, Owen Warner and Matt Hancock - took on the last Bushtucker Trial of the year. Their hard work resulted in them chowing down on some fine dining, before waiting with bated breath to hear who the British public had crowned King or Queen of the Jungle for 2022.
Probably the biggest upset of the weekend was discovering that MP Matt Hancock had made it to the final, even with his controversial political background. He was the first finalist to be eliminated, however, coming in third place.
Which meant that Jill and Owen were the top two of the year, and to be honest, it was overwhelmingly obvious that no matter who took home the title this year, the public was going to be happy. Both campmates proved over the past three weeks that they were the most genuine of people, and ended up winning over viewers with their easy-going nature. Just look at Owen knocking back a fermented duck egg with no bother to him in the slightest.
In the end, it was football star Jill who took home the title of Queen of the Jungle this year. Jill's win means that she is the first female sports star to claim the title.
Here's how viewers reacted to the 'I'm A Celebrity' final last night, and the crowning of our new Queen of the Jungle.
Hmmmmm... maybe not the entire UK, someone was voting for him to stay in camp.
Lots of people thought that fourth-place contestant Mike Tindall, who was voted out on Saturday night, deserved a place in the final three. But he just didn't get enough votes, unfortunately.
This Dec meme just keeps on giving.
Well, that's the reality competition over for this year, but there's another 'All Stars' version on the way very soon. Lots of former contestants have already filmed a Champions spin-off series in South Africa earlier this year, which is set to air at some point in 2023.
