We have been waiting for quite some time for this particular soap exit, as Tina McIntyre's last (conscious) scenes were aired last night. Thing is, we were all fully certain that we had seen the last of Tina the previous night when we finally got to see which one of the four possible suspects pushed her off the balcony.
To be honest, we had thought they might leave us guessing for a while on the identity of the murderer like the never-ending 'Who Dunnit' on EastEnders at the moment, but nope, we weren't left in suspense and all saw Carla's brother Rob was the one who delivered the not-so-fatal shove.
The soap had led us to believe that it was that fall that would kill her, but fans were left shocked last night when Tina stood up and pretty much did a Jason-Halloween-style rise from the dead! Turns out, the fall hadn't killed her at all (not even a little bit) but in a serious case of bad luck, it was Rob that was there when she did wake up. And of course Tina being Tina thought now might be a good idea to threaten and antagonise the man that tried to kill her, warning him that she was 'born gobby'.
Bad idea Tina. Rob manages to handily enough find a metal bar and says "You'll die gobby too." And bam! Down goes Tina.
Rob 'ey? Who'd have thought he had it in him? Although he is marrying Tracey, we should have known something was up.
Although, bless her, Tina isn't giving up without a fight and is in fact STILL alive. She will be in hospital until Monday night's double bill which will see her eventually slip away.
Aw, we'll miss the gobby cow all the same.
