Willoughby confirmed the news via Instagram earlier today.
After 12 years on the show, Holly Willoughby has departed ITV's 'Celebrity Juice'.
Willoughby was one of the original team captains on the show with Fearne Cotton, who also left the show two years ago. Confirming the news on Instagram via several behind-the-scenes-photos, Willoughby thanked ITV and Leigh Francis, as well as the production staff and audience members, describing the show as "fantastic chaos."
"Over the years the production team has changed, however to anyone lucky enough to have worked on the show, they will know that we really do have the best time, it’s never felt like work and always been to me like a night out," Willoughby wrote.
As of now, no replacement has been announced for Willoughby and speculation is rife as to who it will be. Fearne Cotton was replaced as team captain by Mel B from the Spice Girls, who herself was often lampooned on 'Bo' Selecta' by Leigh Francis.
Willoughby will continue as team captain up until the end of the season, which is currently in progress on ITV2 and next airs this Tuesday at 10PM.
