Plus, Rick Astley!
Hannah Waddingham, RuPaul AND Rick Astley? You're not going to want to give this interview up.
If you're feeling in need of a pick-me-up this Friday, then we've got the perfect remedy for you. Emmy winner and current Emmy nominee Hannah Waddingham joined RuPaul for a chat on Thursday night to discuss her super successful TV show, her part in a certain Disney+ sequel, and also to chat all about her future appearance on 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK'.
The star, who is up for another Emmy Award for her role as Rebecca in Apple TV+'s 'Ted Lasso', saw her profile rise dramatically overnight ever since securing her first win at the acclaimed award's show last year. She also managed to grab everyone's attention while aceepting her award, with snippets from her speech including "Jesus Christ on a bike!" and shouting at co-star Juno Temple "I'm going to stalk you!"
On last night's interview, Waddingham revealed that she'll be a guest judge on 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK' season four, which is how the pair first met.
The actor also playfully spoke about her upcoming and mysterious role in Disney+'s 'Hocus Pocus 2', which will see Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker reprise their roles as the three Sanderson sisters. Still keeping her part a secret, she did speak about some former 'Drag Race' Queens (Kornbread, Ginger Minge and Kamora Hall) joining the film in guest roles.
RuPaul replaced regular host Jimmy Kimmel for last night's show, and he and Hannah received a surprise message from the Rick Astley who congratulated them both on their Emmy nominations. 'RuPaul's Drag Race' is once again nominated in multiple categories this year, including Outstanding Host and Outstanding Reality Competition.
