The comedian has confirmed his Monday night chat show will return for a second series later in the year, although the BBC has yet to announce it, but we'll take it as coming from the horse's mouth with McIntyre's tweet.
The Michael McIntyre Chat Show to return later in the year. Hilarious last show on Monday @JKCorden, @MissAlexjones & Sir Bruce Forsyth.

The chat show ran for a six week stint and was the comedians first foray into this style of TV format. Fair to say though, he hasn't done too badly, and it's all come together quite nicely for him over the last few weeks. And yes of course, he is no Graham Norton, but for early days he's hitting all the right notes with viewers, with about 2 million tuning in week to week.
The final episode of the first series airs tonight at 10.35pm on BBC One, and as the tweet says, special guests will be Sir Bruce Forsyth, James Corden and Alex Jones.
