These two ladies are unstoppable and managed to steal the show for two years running now. I bet the Hollywood Foreign Press are glad they let Gervais go on his merry way.
They cracked us up all night long, here are just a few of their best zingers;
Poehler refers to the Showtime drama "Masters of Sex" as "the degree I got from Boston College."
Fey points out that Matthew McConaughey lost 45 pounds for his role in "Dallas Buyers Club" and adds, "or what actresses call 'being in a movie.'"
The film "August: Osage County" proved "that there are great parts in Hollywood for Meryl Streeps over 60."
Fey: "'Gravity' is nominated for best film: It's the story about how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age."
On the length of the telecast: "We'll get this show done in three hours, or as Martin Scorsese calls it, Act One!"
One of the comedy highlights had to be when Poehler pretendded to be Fey's abnoxious teenage son, and "Mr. Golden Globe," a boy who had never met his father.
Fey told him: "He's somewhere in this room."
And then came the closer. Fey: "This was the beautiful mess we hoped it would be." Poehler: "And I got to make out with Bono."
