But it was Tadhg and Ettie who stole the show
The kids are back to school, the winter coats are on the horizon, and there's a load of new and returning TV shows hitting our screens. Autumn is coming.
'Gogglebox Ireland' series seven premiered on Virgin Media One last night, proving once again that watching people watching TV shows is so simple yet purely and utterly heartwarming. The families sat down to watch Netflix's 'Cooking With Paris' ("It's no Darina Allen"), 'Vigil' on BBC One, Channel 4's 'Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins', and 'Phil Lynott: Songs For While I'm Away' on RTÉ One.
Last night's episode saw the return of some of our favourite families and friends from across the country, including The Gruffertys, Tracie and Anita, David and John, and the Saunders family. There was also a new family, Danny and Oksana, who made their TV debut on the new series.
A lot of viewers were praising Tadhg Hession and his granny Ettie, who spoke openly about his bisexuality - and viewers were commenting on him looking so "grown-up".
However, there were a few omissions from the series premiere of 'Gogglebox Ireland' which didn't go unnoticed by viewers. The Tully twins and the Cabra girls didn't appear, with fans of the show asking Twitter whether they would both return later in the series.
Here are some of the best reactions to 'Gogglebox Ireland''s return this week.
The seventh series of 'Gogglebox Ireland' continues every Wednesday night at 10 pm on Virgin Media One. In case you missed the first episode, you can watch it on catch up via the Virgin Media Player.
