Although he's more known for playing Puck in Glee, Mark Salling is now facing down twenty years in jail if he's convicted of child pornography charges.

The actor was arrested back in 2015 on suspicion of possessing child pornography, just two years after leaving Glee as a full-time cast member. Late last night, Salling was charged on two counts of possession of child pornography in relation to his earlier arrest.

Salling has until June 3rd to surrender himself into custody and enter a formal plea against the charges. This isn't the former Glee star's run-in with the law, however.

In 2013, Salling was sued by a former girlfriend for sexual battery and assault and was ordered to pay out $2.7 million to the victim when he physically pushed her after she confronted him.

Investigators claimed in a report that Salling had downloaded thousands of child porn images and stored them on a USB flash-drive, a laptop and a hard drive. If convicted, Salling could face a maximum of twenty years in jail.
