That's one to make a queue seem exciting.
Queuing up for tickets for a theatre show can be pretty boring, not the least of it being that it can sometimes be a waste of time if the box office is sold out by the time you get there.
So it goes with 'Fleabag', which is currently playing in the Wyndham Theatre in London with Phoebe Waller-Bridge reviving the original one-woman-show for one final run. For the poor souls who happened to be waiting outside for a ticket, it wasn't quite as boring as it normally is.
Waller-Bridge and Andrew Scott, who starred as the 'Hot priest' in season 2 of the BBC show, were on hand to dispense free cans of gin to people waiting in line for tickets.
There's probably a joke in there about people quenching their thirst for Andrew Scott's 'hot priest', not to mention something about Phoebe Waller-Bridge as well, but we're not going there.
It's too obvious a joke and, honestly, isn't gin in a tin kind of manky? Still, it's nice to accept it from the stars of 'Fleabag' while you're waiting for their show.
