We really should all have quit the day jobs a long time ago and head for pastures new in Stars Hollow, because those Gilmore Girls really are cleaning up.
It's emerged how much actresses Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are getting per episode for their upcoming Netflix revival series, and it's the impressive sum of $750,000. To put that amount in perspective, Kevin Spacey gets approximately $500,000 an episode on House of Cards, Dwayne Johnson gets about $400,000 on Ballers and the leads of Game of Thrones all get $500,000 an episode. In fact, Graham and Bledel are almost up there with The Big Bang Theory, who are the current highest paid TV stars with 1 million an episode (yep).
Saying that, the Gilmore Girls revival series is only four episodes, but they are ninety minutes each, and given how fast they talk, they probably learn enough dialogue equivalent to double the amount of episodes of anything else.
'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' arrives on Netflix on November 25th.
