Gary Barlow
had a bit of a 'rock and roll' moment during the latest round of X Factor auditions.

The judge is said to have smashed up the set, by 'smash up' he apparently threw a mug and knocked over a chair. How very rock 'n' roll Gary! It all happened after the performance of a so called rocker turned out to be pretty, well, crap. All four judges initially turned down the hopeful after he covered Robbie Williams 'Let Me Entertain You'. Sigh! First off, choosing to sing a Robbie Williams song in your performance just shows how much of a rocker you are not!

Anyway being the nice guy Gary Barlow is, the hopeful got a second chance at auditioning if he could be more 'wild' this time. The boy band member then tried to teach the wannabe to be more 'wild', well, as wild as a boyband member can be.

A source speaking to The Sun said, 'He came on, strummed his guitar and sang along and then just faded out. They asked him back in and Gary told him he had to be more of a rocker if he wanted to get anywhere on the show. He then stood up and tried to tip the desk over shouting 'like this', but it was screwed to the ground. So he picked up a mug and smashed it then grabbed his seat and sent it flying. Everyone just looked at him with open jaws, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.'

It must have paid off because the singer got a call back. A source also said that Sharon had been hogging the limelight during the auditions so this was Gary's attempt at upping his game. Sharon Osbourne has been brought back to shake up the show and has apparently been paid £1.8 million to do so.
