Nobody likes a spoiler, so if you are not up to date on season five of Game of Thrones, look away now.
If you have been following our Game of Thrones articles in recent weeks, you will know that when it comes to Jon Snow still being alive, we are very much believers. Well, not so much alive, but he is definitely coming back in our opinion, the dude is literally the embodiment of A Song of Ice and Fire.
We aren't the only ones who share this optimism, as actress Carice van Houten, who plays the Red Priestess Melisandre, also believes this isn't the end for Jon Snow. When she was asked about his fate at the London Comic-Con at the weekend, the actress said; "No, he can't be dead. No".
It's like she took the words right out of our mouth.
There are also rumours that it could be Melisandre that resurrects Jon Snow as she did mysteriously turn up at Castle Black in the season five finale, and we do know that it is potentially within her powers to bring back the dead.
Responding to this rumour, van Houten said; "I've seen that on the internet; like I've seen stuff saying, 'We'll forgive you if you save him'."
By 'forgive', she is referring to the horrendous death of Shireen in season five, which Melisandre was behind. Not sure we can get over that in a hurry, but yeah, if she brings back Jon Snow...well, it couldn't hurt is all we're saying.
