The character only deserved an off-screen death
Of all of the 'Game of Throne' deaths, this one just seems purely evil.
*Warning - 'Game of Thrones' season 1 to 7 spoilers below*
In George R. R. Martin's 'Game of Thrones' we've been blessed (read: terrified) by having some of our favourite characters face a most grizzly death on-screen. There has been decapitations, eye gauging, poisoning, massive explosions, and even being turned into pure gold.
Now, we don't know how to break it to you, but another 'Game of Thrones' character has met their fate at the hands of a woman who holds all of the grudges. Cercei Lannister has killed... Ser Pounce, the cat.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, show runners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have revealed all about the fate of the feline wonder; last we had heard from Ser Pounce, he hadn't been seen since his owner, King Tommen, jumped out of his bedroom window.
Benioff explains what happened to The Royal Feline of House Baratheon. He said, "Cersei hated the name ‘Ser Pounce’ so much she could not allow him to survive. So she came up with her most diabolical [execution]. Ser Pounce’s death was so horrible we couldn’t even put it on the air."

Poor Ser Pounce. With a name like that, and a hell-bent psychotic mother, it's a wonder Tommen's cat even lasted that long.
Weiss added catnip to the fire, saying "If you buy the super-extended, super-charged 'Game of Thrones' box set that comes out, the death of Ser Pounce will be in there. Just one whole episode devoted to the death of Ser Pounce."
Mr. Weiss, you have no idea how much we'd want to watch that.
Until that "super-charged" box set gets its release, we've got the eighth season of 'Game of Thrones' to tide us over. The first of the final six episodes will air on April 14th.
