'Game of Thrones' is known for going big and 'The Long Night' was no exception
Each episode of this season of 'Game of Thrones' comes with an episode of 'The Game Revealed', a behind-the-scenes look at how each episode was made with input from numerous cast and crew. And while previous 'making of' episodes were tasty snacks, this week's installment is a whole 40-minute meal.
Standing at 82 minutes in duration, 'The Long Night' is currently the longest episode of 'Game of Thrones' so far (but expect it to be eclipsed promptly). And seeing as most of that episode was made up of intense battle and fight scenes that took 11 gruelling weeks of night shoots to make, the story of how the episode was made is just as enthralling.
So if you're starved for more 'Game of Thrones' and can't wait a week, or if you want to find out how they filmed those epic scenes and why exactly the episode was so relentlessly dark, step this way.
It really is a must-watch.
