Because of course it is.
If you've been following the news - other than, y'know, entertainment news - this shouldn't surprise anyone.
Originally, the reunion episode of 'Friends' - which would have featured all the cast in front of cameras for quite some time - was moved from May 27th to August 17th for filmimg, however Deadline is now reporting that HBO Max and Warner Bros. have scrapped the date.
Yet, for all of that, Jennifer Aniston is still upbeat about it happening. "It's going to be super," Aniston told Deadline. "You know what? This has also given us more time to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been. So I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed. Look, we're not going anywhere. You're never going to get rid of 'Friends', sorry. You're stuck with us for life, guys."
Currently, the reunion episode is being made specifically to help launch 'Friends' on HBO Max in the US - which means there's no word yet on how or if people on this side of the Atlantic will get to see the episode. Not only that, 'Friends' is still streaming on Netflix here in Ireland, as well as airing on a constant stream on Comedy Central too.
