Although he's barely gone a year, the loss of George Michael is still undeniable - and last night's documentary about the singer on Channel 4 only proves it.
George Michael: Freedom gave an in-depth, honest, humorous, and often emotional look at the singer's career, personal life, and the incredible impact he made - both on fellow musicians and everyday fans.
The documentary was, as introduced by Kate Moss, George Michael's final work and featured an array of celebrity guests - including Naomi Campbell, Liam Gallagher (huge fan, apparently), Elton John, James Corden, Mark Ronson, Ricky Gervais, Tony Bennett, not to mention the supermodels of the titular music video either.
Here's just a smattering of the huge reaction the documentary garnered online.
If you aren’t watching @Channel4 at 9pm then you are too young, or too old, to understand the importance of #GeorgeMichaelFreedom

What a complicated, intelligent, searching, soulful, beautiful, vulnerable man George Michael was. And what a loss.
