The series is expected to arrive on BBC One and RTÉ before the end of the year.
Based on Tana French's psychological thriller / police procedural novels, 'Dublin Murders' is expected to be the replacement to 'The Fall' you've been waiting for.
Killian Scott and Sarah Greene play two detectives attached to the Dublin Murder Squad, who are investigating a murder that has ties to their past, and puts their friendship to the test. As you'll see in the trailer, there definitely looks like there's comparisons with Scandi-noirs like 'The Bridge' and 'Bordertown', as well as more recent efforts to co-opt it like 'Broadchurch' and 'The Missing'.
It does like there's a mini-'Love/Hate' reunion on the cards, as Nidge himself Tom Vaughn-Lawlor also has a role in the series, not to mention a 'Rosie' reunion for Sarah Greene and Moe Dunford. The series finished filming in Dublin and Belfast in March of this year, and while no air date for RTÉ and BBC has been announced, it's understood the series will air on Starz in November of this year.
The series runs for eight episodes, and if the trailer is anything to go by, it's going to be pretty intense.
Take a look.
