"I'll love you, always."
The daytime chat show host just loves a reunion, doesn't she?
The former actor isn't messing around when it comes to getting guests from her past onto her chat show, and her latest invite was yet another former flame. Drew Barrymore managed to get her ex Justin Long to pop in for a chat for the season three premiere of 'The Drew Barrymore Show'.
"Hedonistic" and "immature" are just some of the words Drew used to describe their on and off relationship, also throwing in some "chaos" into the mix for good measure too. The pair laughed and cried on the show while reminiscing about how much fun they shared together as a couple.
Long, known for dodging and diving and dodging again in 'Dodgeball', met Barrymore in 2007. The pair were on and off between then and 2010, and even filmed a couple of comedies together, 'He's Just Not That Into You' and 'Going the Distance'.
During this public reunion, Long nearly set Barrymore off crying by saying: "I love that we've maintained our love. I know from my end it'll never go anywhere. I'll love you always. I'm glad that we're able to still have that."
Barrymore followed this up with: "I will always love you so much. You are so important to me." The former lovebirds then embraced once again while the audience sat there clapping awkwardly, feeling like they'd interrupted a reunion that maybe should have taken place off stage beforehand.
Three seasons in and Barrymore has managed to link up with plenty of people she either used to work with or - just like Long - has had a relationship with. She famously reunited with her 'Charlie's Angels' co-stars Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz during her first-ever show in 2020; there was a 'Scream' reunion too; but she also managed to bring out her ex-husband Tom Green, talking with him for the first time in 15 years.
We do love a bit of smushy Drew Barrymore, and we're sure you do too, so here's the full clip of her and Justin Long.
Barrymore joined Jimmy Fallon on his late-night chat show this week too, chatting all about being a guest at Britney Spears' wedding.
