He may be off filming the sequel to his smash hit movie Anchorman, but Will Ferrell has taken time out of his jam packed schedule to offer up his, and Ron Burgundy's services for Comic Relief.
Yup, it appears everyone's favourite newscaster (after Bryan Dobson, obviously) will be appearing in a rather special one-off sketch, shown during tonight's Red Nose Day proceedings. Still no word on whether or not he'll be joined by any of his co-stars though! There's a strong possibility that Baxter may be otherwise engaged in Milwaukee.
Ferrell is currently busy filming Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy with Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, David Kochener, Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig, and of course Harrison Ford has even been spotted on set.
And he won't be the only comedic star making a return to the screen either! Dawn French's Vicar Of Dibley and Ricky Gervais' David Brent both make long anticipated comebacks for Comic Relief this eve. You can catch all the action live on BBC One from 7.00pm.
