A number of sexual assault allegations have come against the actor

***SPOILERS FOR 'AND JUST LIKE THAT' EPISODE ONE FOLLOW***

Chris Noth will not feature in the finale to 'And Just Like That', as was originally planned, in the wake of a number of sexual assault allegations.

Chris Noth reprised his role of Mr. Big, aka John James Preston, for the series premiere of the 'Sex and the City' spin-off.

His character died at the end of the episode after suffering a heart attack while riding a Peloton.

According to TV Line, Chris Noth was going to appear in a fantasy sequence in the 'And Just Like That' finale.

The scene would have seen Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) imagining reuniting with her late husband while visiting Paris’ Pont des Arts bridge to scatter his ashes.

According to reports, the creative team behind 'And Just Like That' decided that the sequence starring Noth was not integral enough to justify saving it from the final cut.

HBO has not commented at this time.

An insider added that the finale was not locked at the time that a number of sexual allegations against Chris Noth emerged.

Five women have come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct and assault in the past three weeks.

The actor has denied the allegations.

His colleagues Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis released a statement in response to the allegations.

Noth has also been let go from his role on the series 'The Equaliser' and was dropped by A3 Artists Agency.
