Matt Murdock hasn't hung up his suit just yet

Are fans going to be gifted what what they've been waiting for all these years?

Speculation is rife across the MCU. Well, in fairness, it always is. But this time around, it's hitting slightly different. According to Charlie Cox, who played Daredevil in Netflix's Marvel series, there are more MCU appearances on the way.

Well, that's what we're presuming anyway. In fact, we've no idea. We're clutching at straws, but it's fairly certain this is the direction the actor is teasing.

Following his widely-speculated cameo appearance in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' as attorney Matt Murdock, and also Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin appearance in 'Hawkeye', all signs are pointing to more Daredevil-related content in the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward.

Speaking with RadioTimes on the subject, the British actor confirmed "something else" is on the way for the superhero.

"I know something. I don't know much, but I know there will be something else."

Charlie Cox

Yesterday, Disney+ Canada confirmed that all of Netflix's Marvel series, which were cancelled in 2019, will be headed to the streaming service in March. No other Disney+ territories have been named as also carrying the six series ('Daredevil', 'Jessica Jones', 'Luke Cage', 'Iron Fist', 'The Punisher', 'The Defenders'), but it seems inevitable. February 28 was named as the final day the series can be streamed on Netflix.

Now that Charlie Cox has basically confirmed more Daredevil goodness hitting the MCU, the only question that remains is "When"? With Oscar Isaac's 'Moon Knight' set for release on March 30, the series could serve as a nice bridging point between the two characters; the introduction of a new face, aided by the return of a fan-favourite.

Maybe a 'Daredevil' sequel series is on the way? Or *gasp* a superior version of 'The Defenders'? We can dream.

However, it seems more likely that Daredevil could show up in Marvel's next feature film. 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' (which already appears to feature another more controversial fan-favourite returning) follows directly on from the events of 'No Way Home' (although technically, nobody knows who Peter Parker is, including Matt). As the film has an anchor setting in New York City, it seems the most likely possibility.

As always, this is all speculation, so take any Marvel Cinematic Universe rumours with a Hulk-sized dash of salt.
