Flack died at the age of 40 yesterday.
The current host of 'Love Island', Laura Whitmore, posted a message in tribute to Caroline Flack yesterday evening as the series' future is now in doubt.
The image shows Flack and Whitmore in happier times, with a small poem beside it as the caption reads, "I'm trying to find the words but I can't (broken-heart emoji)". The narrator of 'Love Island', Iain Stirling, also offered tribute via social media. Stirling's message read "Today my friend slow motion walked into heaven. I will miss her always. Thank you for everything x".

As for the series itself, it's not yet known whether or not it will continue in light of recent events. Last night's episode of 'Love Island: Unseen Bits' was not aired, and the official 'Love Island' account posted a tribute to Caroline Flack and ceased tweeting thereafter.
As of writing, it's not known if tonight's episode will go ahead. On top of that, there have been renewed calls for the series itself to be axed in light of Flack's death and two former contestants, Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon, in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
Following Thalassitis' death in 2019, 'Love Island' changed its aftercare for contestants on the show and included counselling and therapy, as well as bespoke training how to deal with social media following the show. However, others believe that Flack's coverage in the British tabloids played a contributing factor after she was charged with common assault against her partner, Lewis Burton.
