Between Sinead O'Connor and Love/Hate Cat Cleo the gang over at The Late Late Show have been attempting to up their game (and the ratings) a lot of late and this week's strategy seems to be rather Graham Norton-esque: They've booked Brian O'Driscoll, Colin Farrell and Steve Coogan in for a chat.

As per RTE Ten, Tubbs (who didn't exactly have the best luck with that cat last week) is really looking forward to having a few 'sleb guests in studio. In fairness, it's got to beat interviewing the folks he probably has lunch with on a daily basis...

"Steve Coogan is one of my dream guests and he'll be on the show", he gushed. "I've always admired him and I must admit I've fallen in to the Partridge trap myself! I'm dying to meet him", he told the website this morning before heading on air at 2FM.

It'll be a tough battle for Tubbs to keep the audience though. Alan Carr's got Britney Spears, London 2012 double gold medallist Mo Farah, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (of The Dark Knight Rises and Inception fame) over on Channel 4 from 10pm. Plus, Graham Norton's pulled in Paul McCartney, Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Katy Perry and James Corden on BBC One from 11.05pm.

Well now, who will you be watching?
