'Bridgerton' is undoubtedly one of the biggest Netflix hits of the last few years.
And the most recent season has also been one of the steamiest, thanks to the passionate love affair between Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) aka Polin, as fans have dubbed them.
The increase in sex scenes in the show - which were largely absent until its second season - has also meant an unusual development for the show's casting director.
Kelly Valentine Hendry has revealed that wannabes vying for a role on the hit show have been sending her steamy unsolicited auditions that basically amount to sex tapes.
"I get the most unbelievable videos, unsolicited," she told the 'Should I Delete That?' podcast. "It’s sex, basically. Not actual sex, but it’s quite punchy, the stuff that comes through to me. Not nudie pictures, but not far off. It’s sad, really."
She added that it wasn't just a few here and there, but that her inbox regularly reaches 90% capacity because of the raunchy emails.
Season 3 of the show has further amplified Irish actress Nicola Coughlan's profile. The Galway native has just been announced in a new adaptation of Enid Blyton's timeless children's book 'The Magic Faraway Tree'.
