Zsa Zsa Gabor is to become a mother at 95... if her darling husband has anything to do with it. Yes, the same Zsa Zsa Gabor who's be in and out of hospitals of late with severe respiratory issues and leg amputations.

Speaking to TMZ, the shy and retiring 67-year-old Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt said: "It was always my wife's dream for us to have a child. Even though we won't be using any of her eggs (*gasps* REALLY?!), she would be thrilled to know I'm going through with this."

OK, so one can assume Zsa Zsa's not 100% lucid, and has probably slipped off into the pre-death coma, what with Anhalt adding: "I hope Zsa Zsa is going to hang around for awhile. I want her to see and hold the baby's hand. She will be a mother again at 95! It was her wish to have a boy."

TMZ added: "He confirmed to the website that he had deposited a sperm sample at a Beverly Hills fertility clinic on Wednesday (ew) and later suggested that Gabor was so 'excited' by the news that she agreed to spend 'close to $100,000' to ensure the surrogacy comes off without a hitch."

Here's the best bit: "Gabor is already the mother to a grown-up daughter, Francesca Hilton, who Anhalt banned from visiting the star earlier this year."

Not at all suspect. Or reckless. "Oh, I know, let's bring a child into an already overpopulated world in the hopes you might meet it before you expire completely!! Won't that be nice?! You might live to see him born, and I might live to see his sweet 16! And if it's a girl, you don't need to know about it. Mom of the year!!"

There is a chance this lunacy won't go ahead. It's since been reported that "a psychiatrist must still review whether von Anhalt will make a suitable father."

No word on whether said psychiatrist will be reviewing Gabor's mothering capabilities...
