There was a time when fancy restaurants were known for sniffing things in the bathrooms rather than in public.
Although, then again, looking at Wolf of Wall St. and that scene with Matthew McConaughey, we'd imagine it's probably common enough.
A fancy sweet shop in Vancouver, Canada is offering diners a unique experience.
The chocolate powder is mixed with mints and whatever spices the snorter would like, and then launched straight into the nostrils of the diner via a plastic catapult that's brought out.
The nose accounts for a significant portion of what we understand to be taste, therefore launching chocolate straight into that area's definitely going to give you that chocolate hit.
A quick bump of chocolate will set you back $2, however you can buy a tin of the stuff for $12. We checked - they don't sell them in baggies.
The entire kit, including the catapult system, will cost you $109.
The uptake, it would seem, has been positive. The parlour in question, Commercial Drive Licorice Parlour, has said they've had about 60 people give the unique chocolate delivery method a try.
The original idea came from noted chocolatier Dominique Personne, who invented the method as a birthday present for none other than Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood.
Here's his video introducing the whole thing.
