And if the internet has taught us anything, it's that the world at large loves cats too.
'My Wife's Lovers' by Australian artist Carl Kahler weighs 227 pounds, measures 75-inches-by-102-inches, is so large it had to be hung on a specially constructed wall, and features 42 of the painting’s commissioner, San Francisco millionaire Kate Birdsall Johnson, cats (she had 350) with her favourite cat (purchased for $3000) Sultan taking pride of place in the center.
The giant cat painting, which is believed to be the largest in the world, was sold by Sotheby's in New York for a whopping $826,000 on Monday to what we assume is some other multi-millionaire crazy cat lady.
