Unless you spent the weekend out in the wilds and are only returning to modern society right now, you probably heard the tale of Batkid, AKA five-year-old Batman fan Miles who Make-A-Wish helped make the hero of San Francisco/Gotham City this weekend in one of the best stories of the year.
Over 11,000 people in the city of San Francisco got together to make Miles, who is battling leukemia which is currently in remission, become the superhero he always dreamed he'd be.
Doing everything from printing a special edition of the San Francisco Chronicle to giving him his very own Batmobile, San Fran pulled out all the stops to make Miles' day. His little brother also got involved as Robin.

When it came to fighting crime, Batkid took down both the Riddler and the Penguin, all while the citizens of San Fran looked on and cheered for him.
You've saved her, #SFBatkid! The citizens of Gotham thank you!!!! pic.twitter.com/Y5HBhVO7u0

And they weren't the only ones.
Mmff. We've got a little something in our eyes. Justice (and a lot of emotions).
