After being rescued form a beach in California, the catchily-named Pup 681 (they'll work on that later) is being taught all the things she needs to know to be a real otter.
The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago has a whole team of people working on getting this baby sea otter pup up and running after she arrived there earlier this week. She was found when she was about a week old, and needs almost round the clock care and attention.
She has to be taught pretty much everything, from how to groom herself to how to regulate her body temperature by getting in and out of the water. That's great and all, but the bonus is that this pup is super cute, just look at this. LOOK!
Awwwwwwww...
