And it ain't what you think.

According to Jalopnik, who obtained the video via an intern who used to work at CNN, the video was filed under the name 'Turner Doomsday Video', which apparently references CNN founder Ted Turner's claim that the network would run until 'the end of the world comes, [and] we'll play 'Nearer My God To Thee' before we sign off.'

We doubt that TV is still going to be airing when the world is about to end (what with mass riots and whatever disaster is washing over the planet probably knocking out electricity long before we go Tubby Bye-Bye), but it's nice to know that someone's prepared (even if it is the song that they played on the Titanic as it sank).

Knowing RTÉ, we probably just have the Angelus bonging on repeat to look forward to.
