It's not so much awkward, just totally unnatural... then again, these scenarios must become 'natural' for those who find themselves trying to have conversations with beyond famous faces while a crowd of people look on, silently taking photographs. You'd also assume Harry would be used to offering to pose for a photograph and creating the illusion of undivided attention as opposed to looking like he's in a rush to feed the meter, to the point of saying "we done here?"
As for Gaga, she was the connsumate professional, saying"Hello Prince Harry, it's nice to meet you. I'm Lady Gaga" before quietly sloping her arm around his waist.
Unfortunately for those of you who want to hear the rest of the conversation, one of the cameras close to the 'action' is a noisy fecker.
