After Trump's shocking and disastrous press conference in Trump Tower yesterday, 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' writing team had to bang out a new monologue in record time and what they came up with is joyous to behold.

One of Colbert's writers, Ariel Dumas, tweeted about the show's last minute changes and sounded the alarm for everyone to tune in.

And the resulting 12 minutes were definitely worth it.

Starting out with a delightfully fitting card that Colbert made for Trump, the host then went on one of the finest denunciation of his late night career with burn after burn coming thick and fast. Truly wondrous.
