Robbie Keane met US President Barack Obama for the second time at a White House celebration for his US football team L.A. Galaxy yesterday, cementing the fact that we are the soundest nation and that everyone loves us wherever we go.
Keane gifted Obama with a Galaxy jersey with 'Barack' and the number '1' printed on it at the ceremony, and Keane and the President apparently exchanged a few jokes during their encounter, with Keane saying he spoke 'at length about Ireland' in a post to his Facebook.
Keane previously met Obama at another White House event, and the Irish jokes were ripe then too, with Obama apparently claiming Keane as 'a cousin of mine'. Sure at this rate they're basically best mates.

Stanley Cup champions the L.A. Kings were also honoured by the US President at the ceremony yesterday, which you can watch in full below.
