This is pretty incredible stuff.
Mark Zuckerberg kicked off the Oculus Connect conference in San Jose, California, yesterday with a virtual reality demo.
Mark showed the potentials of VR for socialising by using his friends Lucy and Michael and showing how they could chat, play games and visit different virtual arenas such as the bottom of the ocean, the surface of Mars, Facebook's offices, and even Zuckerberg's home (where his dog, Beast, was hanging out).
It’s pretty cool to get a glimpse into where the future of technology is going.

Mark captioned the video, shared via his Facebook: ‘The idea is that virtual reality puts people first. It's all about who you're with. Once you're in there, you can do anything you want together -- travel to Mars, play games, fight with swords, watch movies or teleport home to see your family. You have an environment where you can experience anything.’
