"Oh to be a fly on the wall for that conversation!"
We can all relate to this. A big meeting or showdown is about to transpire and we'd give anything to find out what's being said. For most of us though the particular meeting in question isn't between the two most powerful people in the world.
When Barack Obama and Vladamir Putin were seen to be having a lengthy discussion in a hotel lobby at the G20 Summit, most attendees stayed a respectful distance away (though the five plus security officials forming a perimeter around the meeting might also have had something to do with it). Of course there is always one exception to the rule.
An as yet unidentified man, wandered into the lobby looking lost (or maybe that's just what he wants us to think?) but once he clocks Obama and Putin in the corner, he breaks the fourth wall by letting the cameraman and the audience know that he's going for it.
A very commendable effort overall but despite resisting the advances of two separate security men who engaged him and escaping the attention two others who were taking selfies, our hero was eventually snared.
There's still debate about who the man was with some insisting he must have been a reporter...
Watch the reporter at 0'57 to 1'10" trying to listen in on Putin and Obama! Not obvious at all. https://t.co/9xH2IYYn90 via @russian_market

and others going as far as to suggest he could have been a spy (007's job is safe if so).
Whoever he was. We'll always have this moment between us.
