We're huge fans of The Soup and Community so when we heard that Joel McHale was hosting the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner, we were excited. The man's known for being truly devastating on The Soup and his caustic, deeply cutting monologues on it.
Sure enough, McHale didn't even bother to hold back when he was standing four feet away from President Obama.
The actor / comedian took a swing at Bruce Jenner, Guantanamo Bay, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Bill Clinton's love for "cigars" and many more, all of which drew lots of "oooohs" from the crowd over the course of the night.
You really have to hand it to McHale. He didn't once dial it back or ease off on any subject. We should all be so brave.
Bravo, Joel McHale. Bravo.
