Oh Jennifer Garner, we have missed you so.
Described as a "children's book for adults", Go the Fuck to Sleep is written by American author Adam Mansbach and illustrated by Ricardo Cortés and has garnered quite the following around the world. And who better to read it than America's sweetheart Jennifer Garner?
Garner recited the bedtime tale on her Vanity Fair cover shoot, the photos from which accompany the cover feature in this month's issue that holds all sorts of gems of information. Exhibit A? Garner's opinion on ex-husband Ben Affleck's 'midlife-crisis tattoo' of a rising phoenix that takes up his entire back. Here's what she had to say about it:
“You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart.’ A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario?” Garner says with a wink.
“I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes.”
We wish that wink was on camera. We can't even imagine how good it was.
You can watch all of Garner's foul-mouthed recital below. And in case you didn't grasp by now, this is very NSFW.
