In his speech upon receiving the award, Chan said: ‘After 56 years in the film industry, making more than 200 films, after so many bones, finally…’
Chan has coveted an Oscar since seeing one at Sylvester Stallone’s house 23 years ago, and he admitted that of all the awards he has ever been given, this was still the one he wanted the most.
He was presented the Oscar by Tom Hanks, Michelle Yeoh, and Rush Hour co-star Chris Tucker.
In one of the highlights of his speech, he cuts the ‘being played off’ music to thank his friends and fans.
Awwwww.
